Hello Foodies! I have exciting news for you!

Jack&joy wishes to bring Asian baked goods to Amsterdam! 

My goal is to have a physical shop which offers a variety of breads and sweets inspired by the ones in China, Japan and Taiwan. Menu will consist of staple items such as Bolo bao (aka Pineapple bun), sausage buns and meat filled buns. On top of this I will add Japanese style bagels, milkbread sandos, Banh Mi sandwiches all with meat and condiments made in house as much as possible! 

As much as this is an Asian style bakery there will be a personal touch so don’t be surprised if the bolo bao isn’t made the traditional way or the custard bun has Earl Grey Custard in it!

Unfortunately, a month ago I injured my foot badly, resulting in a surgery and at least 3-4 months of full recovery. On the good side, I get to work on the non-baking aspects of the business. 

As of now, there is no physical shop and I am still working a full time kitchen job so this project will have to start out from my own home on my day off. I have already planned how I will serve you logistic-wise and this information will be shared as soon as I am fully recovered and reintegrated in my full time job.
